It was good to meet you at dinner at the Lakeshore Restaurant with Barry and Elaine. I quite enjoyed the show and sale on Wednesday as well.
I have just gone through your web site and I must say I really don't know how the both of you get time to eat and sleep. You must have very good time management skills to keep up with the everyday agenda.
Your web site is done up very nicely; I know these things do take a lot of work and organization.
Good luck to you and your business/hobbies. I hope I get to meet you again at the Agribition in 2011.
After a few bad experiences with horses, my husband was determined to buy me a well mannered Canadian. After a long search he finally stumbled across "Richelieu" on-line! He contacted Deb and explained our situation with my great fear of riding again and was reassured that "Richelieu" would be perfect! However, being late fall, he decided that it would be best that Deb and Shane board him for the winter and keep working with him until Spring! So, this agreed upon, Spring came and Shane & Deb came up to Grande Cache, AB to deliver "Richelieu" and off we rode into the mountains!......And from then on, my journey with Rich has been amazing! There is no better! Deb & Shane, you guys rock!!!
Rich is exactly the horse I needed to gain my confidence back! I can't thank you enough for all your time and care spent with him thru out his winter with you! Look forward to more great times with the family!
I just wanted to let both Shane and Debbie know that they have done a great job with my horses.
They broke Freckles 2 year old for me last summer and then put another 30 days on him this spring. My 9 year old daughter is now riding him and loving it.
My other 6 year old mare went to them with some issues and came back cured. Shanes persistance paid off big time. I will be continuing to ride Sniper and will be using her in the mountains along with some team roping and pasture work.
These wern't the first horses they rode for me and they won't be the last!!!
If you are looking for a dependable, solid, on time farrier- Shane is the man. We had no luck with finding farriers that we could count on and then we met Shane and Deb and we will refer them to all we know. Shane is always on time, efficent and amazing with horses. He will be starting some light training on my Friesian-Pinto this spring and I am very excited. If you want a great farrier with amazing horsemanship skills -look no farther.
Shane has been out today to trim my horses, and all I can say is WOW. To start with he was here early, which is nice.
My horses were all perfect monsters, one is new looks like his feet haven't been trimmed for about 2 years. My 2 year old decided he couldn't stand on 3 legs without falling over. The mare suddenly decided that the box with his tools in was a horse eating monster.
Through all that Shane remained cool collected firm but gentle. Thank you Shane, I promise I'll work on their manners, but promise you'll come back:unsure:
Deb and Shanes horses are amazing especially in person, I bought Duke and expect great things. I have ridden a couple of their horses and WOW, the work and time that goes into them is crazy... True horsemanship... With amazing results.
Looks great Deb....love the bamboo.... I am sure I can give you some pictures of special moments at the Ya Ha Tinda if you'd like.....gotta love those babies. Who is that white dog ??
